Meet Dr. Leah Wilkins - Aiken, SC

Leah B. Wilkins, DMD, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wofford College in 2001. She graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2005. She then returned to her hometown of Edgefield, SC and practiced with her father, Dr. Ransom L. Bryan, Jr. for ten years. Leah has been active in the South Carolina Dental Association. She is the past president of the Central District Dental Society and currently serves on their Nominations Committee. Additionally, she has served the last five years as a delegate to the House of Delegates, the governing body from dentists in this state. In 2016, Leah was inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Fellowship is by invitation and is limited to ethical dentists who have made a contribution to their profession and community. Leah is passionate about her volunteer work. She serves as a screener in area elementary schools where she works side by side with DHEC employees to assess and report the needs of kindergartners and third graders. She also participates in the Donated Dental Services program. This program provides free, comprehensive dental treatment to our most vulnerable people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile. She is currently in the process of completing her continuum at the LD Pankey Institute in Florida where the focus is on providing individualized, comprehensive dentistry for patients. In her free time, Leah also volunteers at her children’s school and is an avid Crossfitter.
